Our hiking hotel in South Tyrol is located in the middle of the Rio Pusteria/Gitschberg Jochtal Alpine region, which is famous for its vast green expanses, picturesque lake landscapes, and panoramic peaks. You can also hike the world-famous Dolomites during your holidays in the mountains of South Tyrol just a few kilometres from Valles/Vals. As your hosts and passionate mountaineers, we accompany you regularly on different tours, in summer and winter. Because even in winter, hiking in Valles/Vals has a unique charm. In summer, we will show you the mountains of South Tyrol on a total of five guided hikes a week; in winter, the local tourist association offers guided hikes.

Almencard PLUS – the advantage card for summer holidays in South Tyrol
From May to November, you will receive the Almencard PLUS at Valserhof for your holidays in the mountains of South Tyrol. It provides you with free use of public transport, the Rio Pusteria/Gitschberg and Jochtal mountain cable cars, and free admission to over 90 museums and collections in South Tyrol.
Skiing winter holidays in South Tyrol
The Rio Pusteria/Gitschberg Jochtal ski region is considered particularly family-friendly and one of the most enjoyable ski areas in the country. There are more Alpine huts and mountain restaurants here than ski slopes. On the 55 kilometres of slopes, you will experience holidays in the mountains of South Tyrol just the way you have always dreamt! In addition, winter holidays in South Tyrol offer plenty of other adventure possibilities: ski tours, tobogganing, ice skating, horse-drawn sleigh rides, ice climbing, paragliding ...
